Every Friday I eat a decadent dinner and dessert, no exceptions. I refuse to say “cheat day” or that I “let” myself do this. I just do it because food isn’t a moral choice. There’s no “good” or “bad” foods. There’s just food. And on Friday evenings I eat delicious treats.
The six pictured Fun Size Snickers bars were what I ate at dinner time. They were so wonderful! I prefer fun size to full size because there’s more chocolate coating. (Yes, I’m a Snickers connoisseur.)
Then for dessert I had these 10 Golden Oreos. Crunchy, creamy, and sweet, they really hit the spot.
As you can see from the red ’55’ at the top of the screens, all this decadence didn’t blow my calorie budget much at all. Some weeks I go even higher because I’m really craving something, but last night, candy and cookies was more than enough ๐
Now that I’ve satiated my cravings, I can go back to my regular way of eating tomorrow with no regrets. It’s a great system!
