I think this is the best low-calorie dessert I have ever made! It’s chocolate cake with chocolate chips and a creamy glaze. Sooo good!
The melty chocolate chips make it taste similar to a chocolate lava cake. And it’s surprisingly filling too due to the high fiber content, so you won’t end up craving more. I’m going to call this the perfect chocolate dessert for weight loss.

Low-Calorie Double Chocolate Cake with Vanilla Glaze
Ingredients
Dry Ingredients
- ¼ cup Fiber Gourmet flour
- ½ tsp baking powder
- 1 TB chocolate protein powder (I use Quest protein powder)
- 1 TB cacao powder (or unsweetened cocoa powder)
- 1 TB Swerve granulated sweetener
- 1 TB Lily's sugar-free chocolate chips
Wet Ingredients
- 6 TB almond milk (unsweetened)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Glaze
- 2 TB Swerve confectioners sweetener
- 1 tsp almond milk (unsweetened)
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
Make the cake
- In a small bowl, mix the dry ingredients.
- Add the wet ingredients and whisk with a fork until there are no more lumps.
- Spray a microwave-safe cereal bowl with non-stick baking spray. Pour the batter into the bowl.
- Microwave on high until the center is set, about 2 1/2 minutes. (For reference, I use a 1200 watt microwave. Adjust your cooking time according to the wattage of your microwave.)
- Turn the bowl out onto a plate to release the cake and let cool for 5 minutes.
Make the glaze
- In a small bowl, whisk together the glaze ingredients.
- Pour the glaze over the cake, top with sprinkles, and serve!
